Day 2 morning

After an exhausting flight we spent a night at Narita Airport hotel. Lavish rooms with fancy toilets ensured our restful night.

Dinner the previous night consisted of the finest convenience-store bought sushi and onigiri, providing students with a tasteful adventure into a Japanese cuisine, followed by traditional Japanese yukatas (light cotton kimono) provided at the hotel allowing for full Japanese immersion.

Hotel breakfast consisted of a variety of exquisite Japanese traditional cuisine including rice, fermented soy beans and miso soup. Those with adventurous tastebuds dove into the experience; the more nervous stuck with the ever-safe toast and jam.
