Day 7 - Last day in Shinjo and returning to Tokyo

The weather in Shinjo is still very cold!

As we came to school, everyone was looking a bit sad since today was our last day at Shinjo East High School. Even though we only stayed in Shinjo for 5 nights, our students made many friends and many unforgettable memories.

Shinjo students kindly held a farewell party and some of the students shed some tears before we hopped on the Shinkansen bound for Tokyo. As soon as we arrived in Tokyo, we noticed the sudden change in temperature and number of people.

We checked into our new hotel and then walked around the surrounding area. We visited a famous shop that sells a wide variety of unique items and then we had a group dinner before returning for an early night. Tokyo Disneyland tomorrow!
