Day 10 - Tokyo sightseeing Part 2

What a kawaii morning!

Today was our last full day in Tokyo. We took a monorail to get to Odaiba, an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. There we visited Miraikan, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. This was a great opportunity for our students to learn about various aspects of Japanese developments in the field of science. They were able to see a very human-like robot named ASIMO, which was developed by Honda. We were also able to ride small personal mobility devices called UNI-CUB, which were very fun and gave us insight into what the future might be like.

In the evening we went to Akihabara, a district famous for electronics, anime and manga. Some students were more excited by this than others, but we all enjoyed taking in the neon lights of the city and having dinner at Mos Burger.

Tomorrow we leave Tokyo for Kyoto to visit some of the most famous temples and shrines in

Japan.
